How can i know if my iLiad is the 2nd edition?
Hi everybody,
Finally i have an iLiad... I bougt my iLiad just yesterday April 4th 2008 (in Milan), so i'm a really novice... But today, when i turned on my iLiad (after the battery charging) and browsed in the iLiad settings i saw something strange in the "Device Identification" menu.... My Product type is: ER0140 - 002-000... but i saw here: 2nd Edition that the 2nd Edition model has a different number: :ER0141-002-000 Can you me explain if my iLiad is 2nd or first edition...? I have both the v2 and v1. The back cover changed between versions.
On v1 there is a recessed area in the upper back both to the right and left of midline, so that there is a bulge on the back where the stylus rests. On v2 almost the entire upper back cover is flat, the stylus holder does not project out as a 'hump'. Wish I had a photo, no one took a photo of the back of the device in the photo threads on this board. |

Thanks a lot everybody...my doubt borns 'cause i charged my battery this morning (for more than 3 hours), and now (i'm in Italy...it's 8:00 pm) the battery's icon is at half... so i'm a little worried about battery, and thought i have a 1° edition (i knew 1° edition had a lot of battery's problem...or am i wrong?)
