Wallace, Edgar: The Admirable Carfew (1914); v1

An early collection of Edgar Wallace short stories. From internal evidence they date from 1913 and possibly earlier.

Carfew is an amiable opportunist who contrives (mostly) to make a fortune in every deal he enters.

There is a guest appearance in one story by an early series detective of Edgar Wallace's, T B Smith.
