How do I run PyGlossary on Windows ?
Hello, all,
I'm trying to get PyGlossary up and running on a (very) small Windows system with not much success ![]() I have downloaded 3.7.7(32b) from https://sourceforge.net/projects/portable-python/ I have downloaded pyglossary-3.2.1-py3-none-any.whl from https://pypi.org/project/pyglossary/ I have successfully installed PyGlossary using pip install from Console-Launcher It sits in the share directory nice and snug. ... and then .... ![]() ![]() I can't seem to activate the damn thing no matter what I try, and days of furious googeling has not helped me at all. I tried activating pyglossary.pyw by "open with" python.exe, pythonw exe and all the launchers in the portable root directory to no avail. What am I missing here? |

Some progress ...
I can start pyglossary from the Console Launcher (using the full path .\app\python\share\pyglossary\pyglossary.pyw), but it quickly gives this error: Quote:

Finally got things to work using the standard python install.
I now have a converted and somewhat usable Icelandic dictionary, I'll upload forthwith. |
