"Homebrew" iLiad batteries replacement

After seeing this pics, i've begun to think in upgrade default batteries in 1st iliad:

They seem two standard li-ion 3.7v batteries with two terminals. There are li-polymer at very low prices with high capacity like this:

A li-Polymer 3.7V battery with 5700mAh at 26$, but we need heigh and width from the original batteries.

You must be brave Reminds me of the people with the HP48G who cut it open to soldier their own RAM extensions into it.. ( http://ec.eurecom.fr/~grundsch/page_upgrade.html )

Change batteries doesn't seem something dangerous for the iliad, there is someone who changed it.
