Control image quality

Hi,

Is there any way to control the quality (and/or size) of images generated by Calibre?

I'm using Calibre to download some news from a local newspaper site and mailing the output to my Kindle. However, the files are quite big and I'm looking for ways to reduce the file size.

Thanks,
Peter

You can edit the recipe to remove images, feeds or limit articles.

After that, if you have Python skills, you can modify the images within the recipe, or rewrite/change your output profile so that a smaller screen size is used.
