Calibre does not show on Win10 anymore

Since years I am using Calibre and I'm very satisfied.
Since 2 days it does not show on my monitor anymore. When I start it, it shows on the taskbar but not on the screen. First I ran a virus scan. N

othing.
I reinstalled Calibre and later even Windows, but it did not help.
Calibre does not show.
Calibre: 64bit 4.1.0
Windows: Version 1903
What to do?

It is off screen, right click the taskbar and choose Cascade windows that should bring it back on screen

Unfortunately this did not work.
But now I saw for 1/2 a second the ghost of a small window jumping from the left when I clicked the icon on the taskbar. But still no Calibre on the screen

Ok, I found the solution:
after everything else failed, I erased every (MANY) registry entry for Calibre by hand.
Now it works again!

sorry I didn't see this earlier, I may have had another solution for you that might have worked.

I'll throw it in here in case someone else has the problem come up...

1. Click the icon on the taskbar so it is selected.
2. Press [ALT]+[SPACE]
3. If "Restore" is grayed out press [M] then press either [LEFT ARROW] or [RIGHT ARROW] and then move with mouse and click.
4. If "Restore" is not grayed out, press [R] and then repeat the steps.

I deal with this on a regular basis at my job and this usually, keyword there, works even when a right-click of the taskbar and then selecting cascade doesn't.
