[Help] problem installing OpenInkpot 0.3

Hi

(warning: possibly a dumb question)
I tried installing OpenInkpot 0.3 on my Bebook/hanlin v3 but I ran into a problem.
I'm following the installation guide and I'm at
Quote:
Follow the instructions on screen.
So it asks me whether I want to update. I click on "ok". After that I get a numbered list(slowly) and a progress bar at the bottom of the screen
Quote:
1. update kernel
2. update system
....
5. update resources
At this point the device seems to freeze, the led is orange. I have tried to select one of the options but none of the buttons respond. I've tried to just do nothing, thinking that maybe it was doing something that took a long time, but nothing happens.

Am I supposed to select something? If so how? Or what is going wrong?

Just reboot it and it should work. Flash again if it doesn't work.

Btw, where did you download 0.3? You'd better try to install 0.2.2 (http://openinkpot.org/pub/releases/0.2.2/) or even the daily snapshot (http://openinkpot.org/pub/daily/)
If your Bebook has got 512Mb flash, you should use v3ext firmware.

I tried v0.2.2 with the same problem and then I figured I could try the shiny daily build :P

I think the flash size is a problem, I had only looked at the pictures I'll try v3ext when I get home. Thanks for the help.

Maybe you should format your sd card with some kind of hdd low level format tool. It really solves most of the update issues on hanlin devices.
