The reset they are talking about has you press the back button on the right side of the device then the power button. I will try this next time it freezes since before I was taking the back off the device and searching for a pin to hit the reset button.

I believe the working on the cybook firmware to be some kind of sisyphean labor.
There is the one guy at the Bookeen who has his "office" in the darkest cellar of the headquarters. He programs day and night and then walks up all the stairs to the top of the Bookeen building with a Cybook held above his head, and when he arrives at the top he shows his new firmware to the CEO himself. But within a second the Cybook freezes and his work starts all over again, so he has to run down all the way into the deep dungeons of the Bookeen building and start over on his cursed firmware. There is always somebody working on the new firmware for the Cybook... What very few people know is that this person also is responsible for the support mails... |

But I suspect that Bookeen get a cascading bug list (correcting one, will show another etc.) Last edited by Godzil; 11-19-2009 at 03:34 PM. |

It reminds me of the Second Coming of Christ. It's also supposed to resolve a lot of issues, and people are wondering about an exact date.

That just yet an other version of gen3.Not much different that what happened with the switch to the 512M version.
I wish bookeen would tells us what's going on. For all my patience, it's beginning to wears out. Last edited by EowynCarter; 11-22-2009 at 01:24 PM. |

It's not the hardware that I find interesting, Eowyn, but that it's being released with the ePub firmware. Hopefully that means that it's now "finished".
