As much as some of you love physical bookstores very, very few such stores will survive in most countries, since few people are willing to pay the much higher prices that are necessary to support such businesses. As indicated, a lot of people are just going to browse. The only valid business model I can imagine is a high end coffee&tea shop / bookstore. Perhaps also some stores that specialize in second hand or rare books or some owners who run the store as a hobby and don't need the money can continue.
