I'm originally from NJ (on the shore) but I've been away for a few decades. I don't recall the exit #s. Jersey has a long shore. Around what towns (areas) may I ask, do you hail from?

Welcome to MobileRead, lettle!

Are you considering purchasing a reader? I have both an ebookwise 1150 and a Sony 700 and love them. I hope you enjoy your time here at MR.

Happy Reading!

Hi Lady Blue, I'm from Monmouth County NJ around the Long Branch/Eatontown area. Where do you originally hail from?

Hi Kabates,
I haven't decided if I'm going to purchase a reader or not but thanks for the choices, I'll have to check them out.

There's no sense in fighting it lettle; it's an addiction. First you'll just visit the forums here. Then, you'll wander into a store just to 'look' at an eBook reader. Then you'll find yourself thinking about them all the time. Next thing you know, you'll have one and you'll be hooked just like the rest of us eBook junkies here. And, damn, it's a lot of fun!

Not far from there - just a stone's throw. I'm from the Laurence Harbor/Keyport area right next door in Middlesex county. Hubby had been living a little further inland in Freehold (Monmouth Co.) I spent much of my growing up time going deep sea fishing and we'd often launch out of Long Branch. My sister has been living in Brick (Ocean Co.) now for quite some time and she and her hubby take their boat to Atlantic City quite often.

Haven't been back there in at least 17 years now. I bet things have changed quite a bit.
