It all melted! We had an hour or so of HUGE flakes - gorgeous - but nothing stuck. Just wet ... and going to freeze into black ice tonight!

Highs in the 30's today, with 30 mph wind gusts = freaking cold!

It's currently -12 C here. A ton of snow fell yesterday, but today was a beautiful, sunny day. I don't mind the cold as long as the sun is out.

A bit warmer here - +40 C! I'd love to see some snow, except it would probably melt in about 2 minutes. At least the washing dried quickly, about 1/2 an hour.

Frost on the ground, blue in the sky. Nary a breath of air. (Turbines almost stationary!)

Just beat the rain into the university this morning. I feel bad for my students that don't roll in until right at their 9am classes. They are going to get drenched.

Suddenly cloudy. Cold front on its way to bring another spell of chill ... Shame, most of the day 'til now, has been pleasant - even earlier when the ground was frosty !

The weather is getting colder again, so I'm bracing myself for tomorrow morning's commute. The weather forecast says 0°C/feels like -6°C
On top of that, yesterday I put my new Brooks saddle on the bike. I tried it for 8 km without any issue. However tomorrow it will be between 15 km and 26 km (planning for 26 km), but it has to be broken in anyway. So I'm in for a cold and rough ride (and I'll make sure to have my commuter pass, just in case ) |

It looks like a beautiful day on the other side of the window -- bright sun with an occasional cloud -- but it's just under freezing and very, very windy!

Going drag racing tomorrow, so hopefully the whole "lets pack the entire wet season into 4 weeks" thing is over - for one day at least.
33 degrees celcius forecast, racing in summer is just so uncomfortable... Angela |
