A very annoying problem with long posts

Whenever I try to do a long and complicated post (as I did earlier this evening) which may take some time MobileRead closes me down without warning. I then have to copy what I've done into memory, and login in to MobileRead again.

Is there any way to get MobileRead to keep me connected when I want to do a long post? I suppose I could compose the post as a txt file off line, log in, and copy the txt file into the Post New Thread window. But that seems clumsy.

When you log in, directly right to your user name there is a little box "Remember Me". Maybe it helps you if you click this.

AlexBell - how are you accessing MR - phone, tablet or desktop/laptop, which OS - IOS, Android, Windows, Linux, OSX, which browser, what sort of internet link - land line, GSM, public WiFi. Anyone of those could be dropping the connection.

For long posts I prefer to compose off line, I mainly use a 'smart' text editor (Notepad++), occasionally I use an offline bbcode editor, and sometimes even Word.

Thanks to you both. I'll try the 'remember me' option.

I have a laptop running Windows 10 and Firefox, and use household WiFi.

Checking the "Remember Me" box should definitely fix this problem, Alex.
