Making Annotations Custom Metadata Field Larger

I use the Annotations plugin to import my annotations from my Kobo H20 to Calibre, and can view them by clicking Metadata -> Custom metadata tab. However, this field is pretty small relative to the space available, making it hard to read the annotations. Is there any way to make this field appear larger?

Why are you using the edit metadat dialog to read the field? Comments like fields are displayed in the book details panel on the right (which you can customize in preferences->look & feel->book details

Good point! While I do like to add more notes in the field on occasion, my main use case is searching the notes I've already taken, and the book details pane, enlarged and with the book cover removed under "look & feel" is much better for that. Thanks for pointing it out!

@CmplxAdSys - if you put the annotations column in the book list, you can press F2 in the cell and the comments editor box will pop and then you can resize as you please. I find it best to cloak 'these sort of columns' with an icon, viz:

Also makes it easy to add further notes and amend existing notes.

That's a great tip, BetterRed! Thanks so much! I followed your lead and also masked the column with icons; makes it much more friendly to the eye.
