errors after epub check

I went to http://threepress.org/document/epub-validate/ and validated the ebook I just made with Sigil and I got so many errors that I don't know how to deal with them all. how is this possible?
errors like "text not allowed here", " not allowed in this context", "unfinished element".... could you help? thanks

Hi,

Did you create his book from scratch or did you start by importing something?

Either way, according to the epub spec text must not be alone inside of the body tag. It must be enclosed in some other block level tag.

This is the cause of the: "text not allowed here", " not allowed in this context" messages.

This can generate lots! of messages.

The key (just like using a compiler) is to find and fix the *first* error and then work forward from there as earlier errors can cause multiple later errors.

For example, leaving an element unfinished (no closing tag) is a bad problem and one that can lead to many other things being called as errors.

Hope something here helps.

Good advice.
A look at Code-view might have the errors jump out at you, since code-view is in color for different elements. One wrong thing may change the entire "color" of your document.

IIRC Missing element. img tags must have an Alt="" Element
Unfortunately, there is no check or requirement that the data contained is useful to a non-graphics user. :/ alt="j123" attached to j123.jpg image tag?
"Map of the Realm", "Red house with door torn off" vs "picture", "j123"
