Sollte ein Verlag zur 20. Auflage kommen, verdient er so ein "Schweinegeld", dass er sich hüten wird, die Preise zu senken. Und er dürfte es nicht einmal, Stichwort Buchpreisbindung ...

Aber genau das ist der Unterschied zwischen Buch und eBook.

Beim Buch muss der Verlag den Preis für die 1. Auflage so kalkulieren, dass er keinen Verlust macht. Aber der 2. Auflage kommt er dann deutlich in die Gewinnzone. Dieser Gewinn sei ihm auch gegönnt.

Dieser Faktor 1. Auflage (mit allen Anfangskosten) aber fällt für den eBook-Vertrieb flach bzw. deutlich geringer aus, da so gesehen die eBook-Verwertung mit der Verwertung als Taschenbuch gleichzusetzen ist.
Auch für ein Taschenbuch fallen noch Kosten für die Neuerstellung an. Trotzdem ist es deutlich günstiger als die Hardcoverausgabe.
Solange ein eBook also die Zweitverwertung eines Buchs darstellt, ist ein Preis im Rahmen von Taschenbüchern oder Paperbacks deutlich angemessener.

Beim Buch sehe ich an Aufmachung, Druck und Bindung ja wenigstens, wo der hohe Preis herkommt ...

Ich empfehle allerdings das Model Large PDA (vormals PDA Classic+)!

Es passt dem Cybook in der Breite wie angegossen, der Teil mit dem Verschluß lässt sich bequem nach hinten umschlagen. (Tolle Fotos hier)
