Calibre Library Images
I have copied my Calibre to OneDrive and have it on my HD as well.
All good with opening the library but the images are missing. Any suggestions as to why? Many thanks. |

I think the path to the Images is in the DB (but it may be just be a data construct to the books folder/cover.jpeg )
AFAIK, this is relative to the folder the DB is in. It is possible, you are running into Path/file CaSe issues |

covers come from the cover.jpg files in the book folders in the calibre library. If they missing it means those files did not get copied over. And note that putting your calibre library directly in OneDrive is a bad idea, it can lead to data loss, see https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq...rked-drive-nas

OneDrive can delete covers and books themselves for unknown reasons. Dropbox is a better option. I have not had Dropbox delete anything, although it can (and will) create conflicted copies, so you'd have to run Library Maintenance regularly.

I have copied Calibre Library to OneDrive as a backup, not as the active library, but I have the opposite problem with the images. Not only did they copy over, but the are all included in my photo files, which is very cumbersome to say the least. If I delete them from photo files, will that remove them from the files in the Calibre library back-up?

You may need to configure your PC's Cataloging (what they include in THEIR Library group), to ignore the Calibre Library(s) when scanning
