Farly nice, nrapallo. But both HTML versions have some odd sentence breaks in two places: at the middle and towards the end.
If I ever get to a place where I have time to work on it, I could clean up those section. Thanks! |

This was just a 'proof-of-concept' that was to show how easily/effectively Mobipocket Creator can convert a .pdf to .html (if it was originally in a word-processor fomat like Word). The conversion from .pdf to .html took less than five minutes and produced a very nice .html (except where it got confused and had that line/sentence break problem). I only centered the images and fixed small things (preferences of mine) in the .html. I added a copy of the original .html produced by Mobipocket Creator as well. So, in the end, it only took five minutes to create, but I could easily have spent 10 times that amount "cleaning" up the .html to meet with my tastes. Bad breaks like that is a known problem when converting from PDF. The only way to be sure it's fixed is to compare the HTML with the PDF and fix anything that's broken.

hee !
imp is the proprietary format used by the eti devices like the ebookwise 1150 and the 1200. given that it's a dead-end, closed, proprietary format, there is honestly no reason that you would *necessarily* have heard of it, unless you, ah, spend time on a forum devoted to ebooks that is... |

I'll be glad to add this one on Feedbooks as soon as there's a correct HTML source...

I wouldn't go saying that (though I was thinking it).

Outside these (mobileread.com) walls, the .imp format has no significant online presence to speak of. It's nice to have so many "champions" here (of the .imp format), be it posting .imp ebooks, organizing wiki pages around it or trying to "dissect/poke/prode" it into something more useful. It can only get better.... and will, as new tools (like EBook-Tools) or new hardware reader's (like ETI's e-ink prototype which WILL use the .imp format) are released. |

If someone makes a properly compared HTML vs the PDF, I'll happily convert it to LRF.
