Nooklibrary 0.0.6
So a new version of Nooklibrary for softrooted Nooks has been put out. It eliminates a couple of bugs (like the case sensitive tags alphabetizing bug). However, it has a new bug which is pretty big. I assume it'll get fixed soon, but I wanted to let others here know about it. If you have pdfs with metadata (which they'll have unless you've stripped them), then the new Nooklibrary (0.0.6) will crash upon trying to load and it won't work. Just a heads up. If you don't have pdf files, it works just fine.

Thanks for the update. I have PDF books, no crash. So far so good.

The library seems to rescan every time I launch it. Is that normal?

I cannot download the newest version via my Nook. If I download it I get the message:
Parse Error There is a problem parsing this package I have no idea, what that means Last edited by mos; 03-12-2010 at 08:58 AM. Reason: update |

Did you try update your Trook to 0.53 before upgrading other applications?

Yes, I have the 0.53 version on my Nook. I even rebooted it, but I get always the same Error message. All other updates through Trook just worked great.

Mine (0.0.6) rescans itself only after I unplug the usb cable (usually plug it to download enews from Calibre).

Can you try downloading the new apk on your PC, then copy it to My Package folder on your Nook.
On your Nook, Goto Trook, choose My package folder and install the new apk from there. Last edited by bthoven; 03-12-2010 at 09:31 AM. |
