The actual complaint... http://torrentfreak.com/images/wiley-bittorrent.pdf ...indicates that they are, thus far, suing 27 John Doe IP addresses. Getting the account holder names behind those IP addresses will be trivial in most cases. Proving the account holder's are the actual culprits is going to be a little more tedious but they'll certainly make the John Doe's lives hell if nothing else. |

They should do a book called Dummy's Guide to Bittorrent. That one would be impossible to pirate, so they would make a mint.

To do it properly, they should make sure that the defendants are all single parents living on very modest incomes.
Amounts should be not less than $1.000.000 each, legal costs aside. |

The idea that the company lost "enormous" amounts of revenue on the books they say were pirated is ludicrous at best. It's just laughable, and I'm no big fan of piracy.
