books sorting by ID

Hello,

i'm a big fan of Calibre, it's very handy and easy to use, but i have a recently a problem with sorting the series i have.
a example, 4 comics:
ultimate Captain america 1 55
ultimate Captain america 3 56
ultimate Captain america 4 57
ultimate Captain america 2 58
The title, date, language, serienumber, everything is how it suppose to be, the only thing i can see is that the id, the number calibre give too the book or comic, is the only one thing what in order is.
Is there a setting that i can change so that i can sort on title or something and not on id-number?

You can sort on ANY column. Click the column title
Or
Right click in the book list: Sort: <select>
Click a second time to reverse the direction (note the triangle in the CURRENT sort column)
Be aware of ASCII wort within a Text column: 1,10,2,200,3
Leading 0's fix that: 001,002,003,010,200

no, that doesn't work.
it doesn't matter what column i use, or what kind of numbers, there are always in the same order, that of the id-numbers.

Thank you, i found the solution of my problem.
I had the layout as cover grid and there it stayed in the wrong order, no matter what i did.
A simple switch to columns and back to cover grid and all my books are in the right order.

In Grid view : Right click : Sort : <field name> works on W10x64

What OS were you using, that you had to toggle the view?
