Bookmarks?
I read somewhere when researching this as a possible device that you can't bookmark, you can just go back to the last place in a book?
I do like bookmarks which work well on the Sonys in case I want to swap between books. Can an Opus owner confirm (HarryT?) |

No bookmarks right now. They told me they're planned in a future update (but we'll see).

Bookmarks for mobi work, none for ePub.
Not sure about the rest of the formats. Quote:
Plus, memory serves me right, update was not published on a Monday. Not the next update anyway, or I missed something. (Well, no one from bookeen mentioned bookmarks at the salon du livre, not that I asked...) Last edited by EowynCarter; 05-10-2010 at 04:10 PM. |

I like the aesthetics of the Opus, but think I'll stick with my Sony then, as I do use the bookmarks a lot. I think a lack of them would annoy me.

So, are you saying that you can only go back to the last place in one book or to the last place in multiple books? |

When you open a book, the cybook will go the the last page openned for that book.

we're talking here about the ePub versions of firmware - there's no problem with bookmarks in mobi/prc (though I don't use them anymore)...

I get that, but will it keep your place in each book you've opened or only the last one?

Every book keeps its place. You cannot add custom bookmarks, but every book will remember where you left it independently.
