E-ink battery dark mode vs normal
Hi all!
Is there any difference reading books normally, or reading them in dark mode in terms of battery consumption and/or readability? I find dark mode easier to read on monitors, but have a harder time reading night mode on an e-ink screen in low light. |

The last time this was asked the consensus was that it doesn't make a difference. The battery is used when turning pages, not when they're being displayed.

The battery is also used by the frontlight. Is the frontlight level the same in both cases, or do you maybe have to set it higher in dark mode?
