I should mention that I have the Britannica, and it works fine on CF card.

I installed it on internal, then copied everything onto CF card later. Not sure if thsi made a difference.

I didn't download it from Mobipocket, it came from Franklin -I think I have the 2005 version, and It is the small print version (I couldn't see a large print version at Franklin - was it the same price??)

Anyway, it is working on CF, just though I'd let people know. Now, if anyone could get my "world's biggest encylopedia" to turn into a dictiobary I'd be delighted!

Hi guys,

OK, for those interested, I've got the "World's biggest encyclopedia" to work as a lookup dictionary from other books, finally. It wasn't working because of a bug in the new firmware:-

The user can either have a dictionary on CF card searchable from other books OR can open it and search inside it, but lose the ability to search from other books. This was the problem - I had already opened the encylopedia therefore it was not searchable. It seems that the PRC on CF card must be in the mobipocket directory, not a sub-folder, hence the problem. One work around is to have two copies and never open one, but since the encylopedia is 200mb this might be stretching things
