Problem with metadata in Connect

I've downloaded a number of books from Manybooks.net and the Sony Connect software recognizes about half of the metadata. For the rest of the files, it displays only the name of the file, with underscores and all, and no author. I've checked the metadata with libprs500 and it's all there, but I can't make sony's software and the prs-505 recognize that data. What else can I try?

Dunno about Connect, but if you transfer with libprs500, the SONY reader should have correct metadata in its books list.

If you install libprs500 you can use lrf-meta to change the metadata on books downloaded from Manybooks.

I did that and sony's software still only recognizes the metadata half of the time.
