Rebel Angel by Irish-descended UK author Sarah Rayne (ISFDB, Science Fiction Encyclopedia) is the 3rd novel in her Wolfking quartet of timeslip historical fantasy where people from our modern world end up in circa 3rd-century magical Ancient Ireland in order to save it, this installment continuing the quest to free the land from the encroachment of the opposing forces of creatures drawn from Irish mythology and folklore who seek to unseat the part-wolf (but apparently not werewolf) rulers of the land from their throne, free courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press' Venture imprint, who are e-printing it from its 1993 publication originally out from Headline under the pseudonym Bridget Wood.

Because sfnal freebies are as welcome as always, and I'm a sucker for kidnapped to save the alternate world type stuff and historical fantasy, and this looks pretty nifty (I'd probably have loved this when I was going through my long ago ancient Celtic stuff phase), even if it's a continuing installment midway through the story, of which Endeavour are generously offering us a portion to try.

Admist the turmoil of the realm, two outlandish humans Floy and Fenella are brought together to the timeless lair of Fael-Inis, the Rebel Angel. Now, with Nuadu and Fael-Inis’s daughter, Flame, they must work tirelessly to free Tara from the giants and the evil Robemaker, who threatens all with his necromancy, and to save ancient Ireland from its indomitable foes…

This alliance, however, may prove too powerful for even this task.
