Calibre Library Export + Google Drive?

Hello all!

I know Google Drive + Calibre is not recommended, but I'm curious if there are any problems with using Google Drive as storage for a Calibre backup.

My understanding is that the problem is how Google Drive deals with duplicates which conflicts with Calibre's method and it screws up the file system, but the Library export function creates a static series of files which, in theory, Google Drive shouldn't screw with?

In theory, it should be safe. Calibre Export is a set of spanned Zip's. GD does not adjust the contents.

Should be fine. GD messes up files with brackets in their names, IIRC the export files dont use brackets in their names

It's fine with epub, mobi,... but pdf is not. (maybe because of file size, ~15Mb)
Many time, GDrive duplicate the book.pdf and save it like cover.jpg (instead of the image file cover.jpg generate by calibre). I paused GDrive while using Calibre but that problem still occurs.
