WM Live Video in ASCII!
We know it's not possible to (legally) stream live games of the Fifa World Cup. However, someone managed to revive old the ATARI feeling by transmitting games live in ASCII chars! You find all the info you need here:
http://ascii-wm.net/# Basically you need a telnet client, such as CRT by Vandyke, and then telnet to their server, ascii-wm.net (port 2006), when a games begins. Haven't tried it yet but I will when the first game starts today, Ghana vs. USA! |
