I don't really care if the eReader devices will be here for a long time. At my age, the horizon is a bit shorter than that. Once I'm gone, the eReader industry will have to survive without me.

Quite right it is more "Après moi, le déluge” or after me the deluge, which is attributed to the King of France Louis XV (1710-1774).
