Finished Elisha Kent Kane's description of the 2. Grinnell expedition to north-western Greenland. Without the illustrations this time around, I'm afraid.
Not quite ready to leave this era of polar exploration, I'm currently working on the memoirs of Hans Hendrich, the renowned Greenlander who assisted in the polar expeditions of Kane, Hayes, Hall, and Nares. |

Uploaded Hans's autobiography ... definitely an interesting read for anybody with an interest in arctic exploration.
Currently working on a Norwegian detective story, "Fjerdemann" by Stein Riverton, alias Svein Elvestad. After that I thought about tackling "Heart of the Antarctic", Shackleton's description of how he almost bagged the South Pole in 1909. |

Just uploaded "Fjerdemand" (The fourth man), this week's Norwegian crime thriller...
At work on Shackleton's "Heart of the Antarctic" now, after that I think I'll work on "Friluftsliv" (Outdoor life) by Fridtjof Nansen. |

Did a search of "SBT" as you have made the books possible. Not a single hit. Seems a bit niggardly not to be able to search on the contributor- |

Glad you find some of "my" books interesting, anyhow. Shackletons "Heart of the Antarctic" is coming on nicely, and also started on Fridtjof Nansen: "Friluftsliv" |

That is why I wanted to do a search on "SBT" in order to see what else you had contributed in a somewhat esoteric genre. However, SBT didn't bring up any results. Outside author etc I was hoping it was possible to do a search on "uploader".

Excellent point. The regular search field is for book titles and authors. Forum search it is.

The eBook browser (click "ebooks" in the blue bar near the top of the screen, then "Browse Latest Uploads") lets you sort by Uploader. You can do that, then click the letter "S" to see those uploaders starting with the letter "S".

This allows you to also filter based on number of downloads, dates posted, etc... (see screenshot below for an example) |

I obviously need to download more books so I get more proficient in finding them. SBT has uploaded books on polar expeditions, a somewhat esoteric topic, that is why I figured it be smarter to do a search on uploader rather than tags.

BTW, drop me a line if you have any recommendations for PD polar litterature ebookification; there is almost too much to choose from both the Internet Archive and the Norwegian National Library. |
