Which font and which font size is this?
I found a book whose font and font size are perfect for me. Does anyone happen to know which font and which font size it is?
And how to I tweak my epubs to make them look like this? I'd be tremendously grateful for any tips!!! |

There aren't any fonts in embedded in that ePub, and it just specifies "Times New Roman, serif". The exact font you're seeing probably depends on your reader. Parts of it specify a 1em or 1.125em font size, but much of it does not specify a font size, so you're just getting the default on your reader... at least that's as far as I can tell. That ePub was made by calibre, so you could use it, perhaps.

Who knows?
The ePUB itself asks for Times New Roman or Courier New, or the default serif or monospace font in your reader. The size is just "1em", meaning "the default size". So most probably you are seeing the default font and size in your reader. If you want to see them in other books, remove any font-family and font-size in them. |

Thank you! I will look at Times New Roman in my reader. As it is a Sony what I see is definitely not the Sony font, but Times sounds good and familiar.

Your 650 does not have Times New Roman built iin. So what you are getting is the default ADE font. Also, when no font size is specified, you are getting 1em or medium as the default size.
Now you could embed the Times New Roman font family since it comes with Windows and see if you like it. |

LRF is slower then ePub. Even on a faster reader such as a 650. And once the ePub is done and working, you get an eBook that's useable on other readers where LRF, you spend your time making it and then that's it, it's obsolete before you've even finished.

The size gaps on the Sony are remarkably reduced in LRF.

But you've found a font size in ePub that you say are perfect for you. So what do you mean by size gaps? Do you mean the space between words?
LRF has the same emdash bug that the Kindle has. ePub does not have it. So for books that use a lot of emdash, ePub is better for sure. |

I mean the gaps between the XS, S and M font size, they are just normal steps in LRF.
What is emDash? |
