Page Width

I converted a RTF to an epub through Calibre and the width of the page was reduced? The text only fills half the kobo screen and the other half is empty. It makes it quite annoying to read, there are only about 4 words across the screen then it skips to the new line. Any ideas?

Sounds like margin settings - either in Calibre, or in the RTF file itself.

Tried That

I already tried to adjust the margins in Calibre, but to no avail. Any other ideas?

Load the rtf into Notepad. Make sure you have wordwrap checked and see how your file looks fullscreen. If it's still chopped off then you have line returns at the end of every line and you will need to remove them.

A lot of free rtfs I've downloaded are formatted like this and are a pain.

yeah, that didn't go to well. When I opened it in Notepad it was just code. It is probably the file itself. When I opened it in Word the margins are all messed up. I'll just do the best I can with Calibre.

Thanks.
