Pet words. The word "brume" has come to feel like an icepick in the eye whenever it occurs in the book I'm reading (and it occurs a lot). It's approaching levels akin to Stephen R Donaldson's abuse of "puissance."

The house I was raised in had a Gambrel roof. In my case, it was the Attic, where you could still stand up in places other than the center.
Some houses , this contained the 2nd (US), (1st UK) floor and the rooms had dormer window nooks.
Very nice with no snow build up worries

They may need brain bleach afterwards. There are + & - to the idea of a spoiler on an ending most people might feel is objectional, though some might argue it's a question of taste.
