Cold. The high was only 7 (F) today. We had 8 or 9 inches of snow on Christmas.

At least the dog is happy. Not only does he love the snow, but he gets out of having a bath since I wouldn't want him to outside with wet fur.

I moved here because it rarely snows. I don't mind a day or two of snow on the ground, but enough's enough. This stuff's been here since Christmas Eve. It's time for it to melt away already.

We're in the middle of a string of beautiful, sunny days -- from this side of the window. The afternoon high yesterday was 23º and today it's expected to get to 20º (F). It wasn't breezy, so I was able to sit on the deck and read with a mug of tea for about half an hour.

We might get some snow this weekend and then maybe again mid-week next week, but the high temperatures are expected to stay below freezing for even the long range (2 week) forecast.
