Two projects completed this morning, so that tomorrow can be used as lazily as possible.

Trip on the aqua scope boat. Little girl first view of the underwater world. Nice pisces. Dutifully impressed.

Trip to the market for things that we prefer from douce France.
12 tooth paste tubes. The one that stand.
6 gazpachos +1 each carrots orange, cucumber and mint and sweet peppers. So that if I like them I can make them and have a taste reference.
6 bottles of olive oil from Nyon.
18 tins of olives stuffed with anchovies.
3 kg of Uncle Ben in 1 portion bags (62.5 g). You cook it in the bag(10 min). Big girl's comfort food.
12 portions of mashed potatoes in flakes (Ementhal flavored). The same. Now you see why it is me cooking at home.
2 kg of rolled oats
Last jar of Hungarian sweet paprika
6 bottles of white from the region
1 box of Bordeaux (3 liters)
4 rolls of garbage bags
3 packages of Trivial pursuit cheese cubes.

Ummm... Beppe? I'm not sure what it is there, but here, Trivial Pursuit is a board game. I'm lost as to what it has to do with cheese - unless they've started packaging cheese cubes in individual packets with trivia questions on them?

1. the tooth paste in the standing tube. I used to like it, I do not miss it anymore... I like the really fluffy tubes, they make me laugh (yep, I am that simple)
2. you don't have those in Italy ???? They even have them for basmati or Thai rice now, supreme luxury ... I now like the redondo rice they have here in Spain, but once in a while I need my basmati

A pepsi light because mercadona ran out of coke zero this week.. I have not had one for years, but it is kind of nice actually and so much cheaper here than coke. But.... I am still dreaming of DrPepper (the tea fraction will kill me soon, I can feel it coming...), that I can't get here.

^Aceflor.if the question is the olive oil, yes. Nyon, in my modest and humble opinion is the best flavored of all. I must say that I do prefer the light Riviera olive oil, made with the tiny black olives tanches here and taggiasche chez nous. The idea is to pay it at least 25 tallers/liter. That's what it costs for the olives to be hand picked from the tree and not brushed up from the ground.
Till last year, I used to receive a gift of a home produced delice from Dolceaqua near Imperia, but then my young friend did something to his girlfriend, had to marry and go to work abroad, the poor. So nada mas. Well, his oil, or better his father's oil is surpassed by the Nyon that I get from Reflets de France. and that's the truth.

no, the olive oil I understand, I do the same, we came back packed with olives (from France to Spain, everyone thought we were crazy, but I can't make a good tapenade with the spanish ones, that's as simple as that), olive oil (from saint remy), rouille and aioli. What I don't get are the toothpaste tubes and the garbage bags...those last ones make me really perplex....
