We were in the low 80s as well. It was humid, but no rain. It was breezy with occasional strong winds -- which brought brief showers of acorns and hickory nuts. Not a bad day!

Our rain is supposed to start in a few hours.

Disgustingly humid today - feels like July outside - like walking into a wet wool blanket - very oppressive - really limits my leaf raking ...

Same down here. I really, really need it to cool off in the next few weeks. I don't want to be moving in summer weather. I hate moving and hot weather makes it worse...

Today it actually felt like October. It rained last night but the humidity dropped off. The high temps were in the low 60s (F). It was breezy and partly cloudy, so it was chilly in the shade but actually quite warm in the sun. Last week a couple of the dogwoods had some red leaves -- this week quite a few trees have leaves that are turning yellow and orange.

We're mid-50's and windy. I hear the hint of snow in the forecast for tomorrow evening. Can't wait! Love the first snow of the season.

It might be a nice day today. The northern half of the country will get cloudy weather today, whilst the south will get sunny weather. Living in the middle of the country it can go either way. One weather website predicts 19C and cloudy until the late afternoon, when we get a couple of hours of sun. Another popular weather website predicts 20C and it will be mostly sunny, with the occasional cloud.

Yesterday it was cloudier and cooler than predicted, so hopefully today we'll get more sun.

We finally had an October day!

The high temperature for the day was in the low 60s (F), but that was right after midnight. The afternoon high was in the low 50s. It was breezy, bordering on windy, and we had a heavy cover of clouds with the sun occasionally breaking through. The slanting sun rays made for some dramatic lighting. The leaves are still mostly green, but we have enough yellow to notice.
