We had a lot of rain over the weekend, but today was beautiful. The high temp was in the low 80s (F), the sky was clear and sunny, the humidity was very low, and there was a nice breeze. I should have gone for a walk, but spent some time on the back deck instead, with a good read and a mug of tea.

Tomorrow is supposed to be much like today, so I should be able to atch up on my walking. Then, tomorrow night through Thursday morning we're due to get more rain. (We really don't need any more rain just now.)

We have some severe storms move through. I don't remember them as I was out like a light. Hubby said it was very heavy rain and alot of thunder.

Florida Governor Declares State of Emergency Ahead of Possible Hurricane Irma Strike

In the space of 12 hours, Hurricane Irma went from Cat 3 120mph to Cat 4 145mph. The threshold for Cat 5 is 157mph.

I have been baking all day (unrelated to the possible storm), and have been to a couple of grocery stores. At 6am, the water aisle in Harris Teeter was 100% empty. At 10am, I was the only person in Earthfare who was not filling up a 3 gallon tank of water with the rest of my groceries...
