I think the votes have swayed me. I've been saving it, as I really enjoyed the two (or three?) in the series I have already read. Off to strap on my guns...

Finished The Collectors, #2 in the Camel Club series by David Baldacci. It started out with two separate plots that came together halfway through the book. One of them was left hanging at the end so obviously, Stone cold, #3, is next.

This was an excellent book which was very well researched. It could end up being one of my 5 favorite books of the year. Thanks to Lee Child. If he hadn't listed him as an author he did NOT like in an interview, who knows how long before I would have read Balacci.

Not available in the US. But is available in Canada and the UK for both Kindle and in ePub.

(Yet another reason why my Kobo account is in Canada, while my Kindle account is in the US. That way I have both covered. And Alf + Calibre handles the rest.)

I'm reading "The Dragonbone Chair" by Tad Williams. Not what I'd hoped it would be like, but still enjoyable. I'm about 3/4 of the way though.

I read it last January right after it came out and thoroughly enjoyed it. Much better than his previous (The Dome).

I really loved Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. It really throws you into the world of cold war spying, and it definitely feels like the author knows what he's talking about (which he does, although I understand a lot of the jargon is made up).

I've read several more of his since, and haven't quite liked them as much, but I live in hope: there's another in my TBR, and more on my wish list.

Unfortunately this is probably a case where the books have different UK and US publishers. The entire series is available as eBooks in the UK.

Currently reading the Aubrey - Maturin series of Patrick O'Brien books (sailing ships in the Napoleonic period).
I'm almost done with book 3, HMS Surprise and I'm now sure I'll read the whole series.

Oh, yeah. This is a series that keeps growing on you as the characters develop and change over time. I've read them all several times, both as physical books and audio books. And I'm about ready to return to them.

Apparently Canadians pick up from the UK publisher, rather than the US one. They're all available here as eBooks, both Kindle and ePub.
