That's true in the short term. However, one dragon can cook many chickens quickly, providing us with many more chickens in the long term. All I have to do is take the dragon to a typical chicken farm and we'll have a hundreds of cooked chickens. Even if we give half of the chickens to the dragon, that's still plenty for us.

I disagree that using the metric system is a sign of modernity. The Metric System and the U. S. Customary System both work, the only significant difference is ease of conversion.
