Right. If I do something like this I want it to have 3g/4g connectivity and be about the size of the iPad....I expect to see win7 devices soon.

LOL!! Cute, dear. My needs are different, so this works well for me. And our Riverfront area (which is about the only place I need to use mine outdoors), just got free wi-fi. I may feel differently soon, though - we just scheduled a driving trip to Kansas to pick up my son for the summer, rather than fight airports and delays and related crap. I can see where 3G/4G would be quite handy for that. I do have my BlackBerry though so I think between the two devices we should be covered nicely.

Yeah, but that thing seemed awfully "clunky" to me. I'm sure there will be something though...

Not about to see the HP Tablet running Windows, they scrapped the project this week. It's likely to run on WebOS; since they bought out Palm...

Win is just too big to run on a small processor with power limitations.

But will there be a Windows 7 tablet, and will it be worth the price of admission? The article says that "our source tells us that HP is not satisfied with Windows 7 as a tablet operating system and has terminated the project." That sounds ominous for W7 tablets across the board. Of course, we're still waiting to see what Android based systems will have to offer.

I didn't read the article, but yeah that sounds ominous....

for Android though.....I'd just like to have a portable web/email tablet ... would be nice if it would be readable in the sun/outdoors...

Just came in from mowing the fenced in area around the pool. We have a 1/4 acre lot, but the fenced in portion is only about 1,400 sq. feet, and about half of that is taken up with the pool and the deck, so that only leaves about 700 sq. ft. to mow. Now for the rest of the lot outside the fence. It's a lot more to mow, but since I can use the lawn tractor, it's actually much easier. Off to get some gas. See you all later!

Ballet is another name for hockey since they changed the rules and blood on the ice is a rarity rather than the rule.

Pretty much the same time as I stopped going to watch live games - how boring - no more crashing into the barriers, no blood. Just a few blokes on skates chasing something.

Ok, I did get lucky and watched a game a couple of years ago where the both teams got sin binned and the ref ended up on a stretcher. Awwwwww
