I guess this $5 sale at Audible is why the $10 coupon for getting 4 audiobooks in November will arrive between Dec 1st and 4th. I'm guessing it will shop up on the 4th after the sale concludes.

Disappointing but understandable.

The WhisperSync link from that ebook takes you to the Peter Batchelor edition. Guess the Tim Curry one is also an option though.

The Tim Curry version was showing as $14.95 for me yesterday, but then after I went and "bought" the free Kindle book, it linked it with the Peter Batchelor Audible book as free, but then when I went back tot he Tim Curry version, it was also shown as free. So It must somehow link them both with the Kindle version.

Yes. As I said, the links don't work well when there are many different Kindle versions and many different Audible versions of the same title. The free ebook makes the Curry and Batchelor versions free, and creates discounts on about half the others; I can specify which ones and how much if anyone actually cares.

I downloaded the Kindle eBook it automaticly offered the 1st Audible free. The came here used the link for the 2nd..Tim Curry Audible. Interesting as to which I get to hear when I listen/read on my Fire LOL

Well seems I can only get the Peter Batchelor to sync...his voice is gruff!

The Curry narration is easily the better of the two.

As to syncing, I haven't tried it. It's something I don't do. I never mix the two.

I added another free version of A Christmas Carol to Official Post. It's from Orson Welles' 1939 radio broadcast on the Campbell Playhouse. It's an hour in length.

I just need to vent for a minute. Tantor media wanted to know all my details, including shoe size and blood type, so by the time they had all the info they needed in order to finally let me complete the purchase, it was 12:03 and my cart value doubled. I was so mad I just left.

Did anyone here get any Tantor audiobooks yesterday?

I didn't get any. I perused the site for a while, but it's so hard to find anything. I finally sorted the downloadable MP3 list by date published, as I know I went through the entire list last year when they had the same sale and had purchased everything that I had wanted that was published at that time. I didn't see anything published this past year that interested me.
