Oops.. mixed up Kovid Goyal.. would he be angry you think ? but for the "problem" it doesn't matter that much.. you know a hell lot more of it, I wasn't even the one complaining about this,but with 2 (or 3 when you count the normal Glo with it) i can do the comparisation, the normal glo is on 3.16.10 and has it to, so if it is firmware related,it is there a bit longer then only 3.17.0 or 3.17.3 and I give up explaining why it isn't a book related problem.

Hi There. In the attachment a book that does not get the cover generated. As stated by another forum member it does not upload the cover through Kobo Utilities.

One more question. I do not know how to send the KEPUB file as it is generated on the fly. Could you tell me how to do this?

There is an option in the driver to put a copy of the generated kepub a directory. But, I usually just copy if from the device before ejecting it.

The book appears to be under copyright. Posting it without permission is a no-no.

Please remove the attachment as soon as possible, posting copyrighted content publicly is a big no-no. There are ways to send files without making them public.

I've sent you a PM with a link you can use to upload the files I need.

I remember reading a while back that this plugin was going to get rid of the extra metadata that it used to add so you could see pages in the chapter (1 of 9 for example) and the little bar graph with all the chapter sizes. Is that still gone?

Is there a way to download an earlier version of the plugin where it was still in place? My mac hard drive died and I lost my older version of Caliber/Kobo Extended plug in that converted the books this way (I personally loved it) for my Kobo Aura HD and I'd love to get back to that setup.

I remember it was Calibre version 1.6 but I forgot what version of the Kobo plugin I had and need to know if I can even download it anywhere.

Can anyone help me with this?

Can you be more specific about what your talking about? From what you've said it's either not this plugin at all, rather something Kobo did, or something that shouldn't happen if you have this plugin enabled.

And if PeterT is right, that version of the plugin hasn't been needed since January. Kobo restored the stats for sideloaded kepubs as of firmware 3.13.1.
