you'll get there! just don't ease up on the physical therapy, and you might want to rethink some of the pain meds if it keeps you going a little bit longer every time!

I can't do any physio for the next 6 weeks because I'm stuck with a cast and I can't put any weight on the leg.

I've been off meds the day I left hospital and did not take the prescribed ones. I like my wits sharp at any time. Pain is an old foe but I know what she is.

So you favour entertainment over my mental health?!?

See what I had to put up with all my life? See where I come from??
No wonder I'm not exactly sane!

Yes I am reading "the life and adventures of William Buckley" by John Morgan. 1852. Having trouble putting it down in spite of the archaic language and many OCR errors.

Thanks for your interest.

Make sure to check MR Library for really well formatted books.

Psst.... you can download The Egg and I and join in this month's Book Club discussion that will start on the 20th.

Sounds interesting, I'll look it up I don't think the language will bother me, I've been on a roll of 19th century English literature for months. OCR errors are another matter...

Its not a novel. It is a journal of an illiterate man who spent 32 years living in the wilds of Victoria with Aborigines.

More of a history lesson if you are really interested.

I just finished it and the second half of the book is a whole lot of(mostly quite broring) appendices that you flip through until you find something interesting.

Where did you find it? Did it come with the reader? I can't find it in the usual places (MR, Feedbooks, Gutenberg).
