I used a magnifying glass to get a good look at mine. Definitely aimed at younger eyes than my antique pair.

You click on the link I've posted multiple times. You post a message asking to have PMs enabled. Something as simple as "Can I have my PM enabled? Thanks!" Wait patiently until you get a message saying your PMs have been enabled. There are quite a few examples of people asking to have PMs enabled.

I do not have your email, I do not want your email nor do I want you to have mine. I'm not paranoid when they are out to get me.

And possibly being rather insensitive, I wonder why you seem to have a issue with clicking on a link to get yourself to the Requests to enable Private Messages thread.

Just wanted to say that the image file worked great, thanks!

Unfortunately, my screen cracked a bit when I opened the Clara HD. I was not taking my time during that part. I was able to use it for a while, but the crack got bigger and then messed up the interface and I can't use it anymore.

So, a friendly reminder to BE CAREFUL when prying the reader apart!

Good to hear that the operation was a success, sad to hear that the patient died.

Good news is that you can now get the Kobo Libra 2. It's amazing!
I had the same Clara HD before as you and this Libra 2 is a worthy upgrade.

Hello David,

since it seems refreshing the full image on the SD card helps solving the issue I have (infite rebooting loop) with my Clara HD, could you send an ISO as well to me? hope it helps .. Thanks!

Hello all/David,

indeed the original microSD card was faulted in my case, giving an eternal rebooting loop .. the FAT32 partition was approachable when taking out the microSD card and inserting in my laptop, but a full image read/write hang after 3% of copying .. so that must have been some fault in the memory at that location (os boot sector?) on the card itself.
Installing the image that David sent on a new (faster :-) ) microSD did kick it all back to life!

Many thanks for all help and info!
