Te Ji Tie Guan Yin Grade B

Tie Guan Yin, also known as 'Iron Goddess of Mercy', is a premium variety of Chinese Oolong Tea and is also one of China's most famous Oolong teas. Tie Guan Yin is associated with Anxi in Fujian Province China.
Tie Guan Yin is typically close to a Green Tea , with only a little oxidization. Consequently, it has a very flowery, delicate aroma without the green tea "grassiness" or astringency.

The processing of Tie Guan Yin tea is complex and requires expertise. Even if the tea leaf is of high raw quality, and is plucked at the ideal time, if it is not processed correctly its true character will not be shown. This is why the method of processing Tie Guan Yin Tea was shrouded in secrecy.
Recommended brewing:

Use 3g tea leaves in a 350ml cup
Steep for 1 to 2 minutes (or to your taste)
I did: 80℃, 2 tsps in 300ml cup, steep 1min.

It is a green variety of Chinese oolong/Tie Guan Yin. Very similar to Bao Zhong/Pouchong Taiwanese oolong(China too? )
Floral oolong.
So far, only one cup. Nice aroma. The flavour is...not sure yet. The first impression is that it is much better than Tea House Emporium Pouchong but not as good as Tea Smith Bao Zhong.
Although it is grade B, I bought it half price on sale. Harvest: Spring, 2009 - is old for floral oolong Their grade C but Harvest: October, 2010 is more than twice expensive
I bought both to compare side by side and see whether I can notice the difference.

Grade A is far too expensive for me.
