Rooted. That was the word I was looking for.

When I rooted my Android phone someone recommended snapPea. it worked great for sideloading apps on the Kindle until the latest update.

Just use your Android phone to backup Moon+ Install Amazon app store and install Moon+ on it then you can either back it up into apk using ES File Explorer APP menu or you can use ES File Explorer to send the app to the Kindle Fire. You just need to have ES File Explorer open on both devices when you use the Send option.

That is the coolest trick ever. I've used that many times since you mentioned it somewhere in a previous thread!

Yes it is I just used it to transfer apps, folders and files over the KF7 after I reset it. So easy!

Well great. I did a factory reset on my Fire 6 and I did a back up before, but I have no backup available now after. I clicked the button which was probably a mistake I think i did another backup and overwrote the old one. I can't figure it out.

I am also going out of my mind trying to turn off the suggestions that are on the home page. I had them off and for the life of me I cant find now where the heck that is to turn off. I checked everything.

Now I have to figure out what I had on my fire. What good is backup if it doesn't work. Darn I am peeved now.

Backup isn't worth it. It just install apps that are from app store but none of the data or your folders or files. Home Recs are under Settings/Applications/ Home Recommendations.

Its taking a long time to build collections and even just to show my cloud.

I think I got everything installed back on.

My reading is still a bit slow so I only managed 3 books this week

Today's Amazon Daily Romance Deal is big - 82 romances, looks like they are all HQN categories and single titles. The prices range from $0.99 to $1.99. I'm excited to see all of Brenda Novak's Whisky Creek series on the list. I'll definitely be picking those up.
