I think Kobo US is acting strange by rejecting some of the contest codes. The same codes will probably work at Kobo UK and Kobo CA. I've tested some of my codes, and they work at Kobo UK and Kobo CA, but not at Kobo US. (All were tested on the same book.)

So, you can try these codes and see if they work for you. Sorry I can't test them all and list them separately.

So not only did they end the contest early...hubby got "sorry this contest is over" at 6 pm central US time last night---this morning the one decent code I got won't work. Tried it on three books I know are couponable. Copied the code right out of the email. Kobo, you just keep amazing me.

The codes have always worked longer than they promised, but that doesn't mean they won't bring that date in (either on purpose or because of: "insert random bug here.") Also, in earlier posts, many people are fining they (apparently) are getting codes in the US that are meant for Canada or the UK--so they aren't working cross-countries anymore. Someone also reported that the code he/she got ONLY worked on the account he won it on (I'm not suggesting you are using a different account, only that they are obviously changing the code to tighten things and this confusion has resulted.)

I think I may have figured out the non working codes problem: kobo may be letting each individual code expire one week after you won it. I got a 75% code early in the contest and just tried it and it didn't work (

) although a more recent 65% code did and an early 55% code did not.

Just in case, use your codes ASAP. -- I wish I had not waited on mine.

Did you test them only at Kobo US? Or did you test them at Kobo CA/UK as well? Because a few codes that I've got are not working at Kobo US, but they're working at Kobo CA and Kobo UK.

I tried them in CA, but they still didn't work. I guess I'm out of luck.
