It's still mild and grey, with the occasional drizzle. The last couple of nights it cooled down nicely, but tonight the temperatures will be around 10C. Which means I have to swap my winter comforter for my warm blanket, otherwise I'll keep waking up because I'm too warm (which also results in very strange dreams).

-9C this morning. High of 0C today. We had rain on Saturday. The high was 9C. That's almost 20C over the normal and with snow on the ground (usually) it makes it tougher. Of course Sunday was windy and cooler with a high of 0C so everything was scary icy. At least the sidewalks were.

Crushing record-breaking heatwave here. No relief forecast till the weekend. Trains are backed up, things are burning, two dogs so far have died from being left in cars, and coincidentally there's a giant telephone outage also. So far no human deaths that I'm aware of.
