Aside from the medley of promotions from Audible, it seems that there have been a lot of them lately.

There is no analysis on my part forthcoming--it's just an observation.

I took the plunge got the Year of Audible Membership! I have been thinking of going Listen Light for $8 per month No Credits But Full membership 1 cr per month was only $1 more ... seemed silly Not to get it

The $99 is a good deal, but I thought Listener Light was around $10 for the entire year? (at least that's what I was offered in the past)

It's still $10 as far as I know. I haven't seen any changes in the plan.

I haven't seen that plan before and I must say that it's rather expensive for a no credit plan.

I can't get any info on the Audible.com membership plans but from what is being said on this thread is it normally $149.99 for 12 credits? That seems very high

In the UK it's £69.99 for 12 credits or £109.99 for 24 credits.

Yes that's right, which is a savings over the monthly cost of a credit with a month-to-month subscription, which is $14.95.

In the UK we have the following memberships (US prices worked @exchange rate 1.26)

Monthly 1 book £7.99 (roughly $10.07)
Monthly 2 book £14.99 (roughly $18.89)
Yearly 12 books £69.99 (roughly $88.19)
Yearly 24 books £109.99 (roughly $138.59)

The average for whispersync is £3.49 (between £2.99-£3.99) (roughly $4.39)

I wonder if our prices will go up as the US seems to be much more expensive. Also our prices already include 20% Tax.

I did manage to recently buy two US whispersync deals at $7.49 each, not available in the UK, they exchanged to £6.10 each.
