Hi, zephyrusg

While your profile says that you have private messages allowed, when I attempt to send you a private message, the popup says that you have choosen not to receive private messages. Until that is corrected, I am not able to send you the link to the Glo HD image.

Click on the User CP link below the MobileRead logo, scroll down to Settings and Options, select Edit Options and scroll down to Private Messaging. If there is not a checkmark on Enable Private Messaging, enable it. Otherwise check and remove the checkmark on Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators. If that doesn't work, you are likely to need a moderator to intervene.

I've attached 2 images which may or may not be of assistance to you.

Hi.

I'm a little confused. I asked yesterday for a Glo image in the other thread of this forum but the fact is that I have a Glo HD, not a Glo and it seems to make a difference.

So, for another try, could you please send me a Kobo Glo HD image file ?

Well in fact, the config fails at the end, when it looks for update,
I don't know why...

Ok I successed to pass through...

I had to uninstall Kobo Desktop from my computer. Installed it again.
Connected my Kobo Glo HD then it successed to update it, at last.
When I tried to set up the Kobo account it did not work (kind of loop)
I disconnected the device, then it restarted and upgraded. Upgraded was long.
In the end I managed to set it up correctly by wifi...

While you have PMs enabled, you will need to go into the User Control panel => Settings and Options => Edit Options. Under the Private Messaging options, remove the checkmark from Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators. After that is done, please let me know so I can send you the link.
