It'll freeze 'em solid! Winter is the picnic time of year, on the warmups. No snakes, bugs or mosquitoes. Saw a poor lizard 2 days ago, out of hibernation. Hope he/she got itself buried back in the ground again...

Growing up in Scotland, that happened reasonably often. Never seemed to cause our native daffodils a problem.
